Faith Story

by Bob

I first attended Zion as a guest of a girl I had recently started dating. I was not looking for a church, guidance in my faith, or anything spiritual at all. I was just there because she asked me.

That first visit was the beginning of an ongoing journey through the wonders of God’s love that includes my baptism at the age of 28, my marriage to the same girl who first invited me, my successful battle against cancer, and making friendships that will last a lifetime.

And now, over twelve years after that first visit, I realize that I may not have been looking for anything spiritual, but God knew what I needed, and He provided it in the form of the wonderful people and experiences at Zion.
